Ok lah, I want my dell to know how much she'd done for me ok..

5 years ago she had the most advanced specifications (compared to my other collegemates) The lastest graphic card, biggest harddisk drive (60gb), memory card reader, bluetooth, wifi and stuff.. and very big too: 15 inch screen.. ;) I mean I dint buy it to boast around, but I did need it for my college projects and assignments that time. :) She was pretty much the high-end type of laptop, costing me (i mean my dad) RM 4313. I can still remember the digit.

Even after my college years, she still follows me around the world.. letting me utilized her to the max...

And she's been very strong for me for 5 freaking years...

Eg: Cracked corner

Others: Stratched surfaces, staines from stickers I used to stick on her...

See how strong she is. I carried her around even now when im working, so she gets knocked up once in a while due to rough handling... :(

Tried to beautify her with keypad stickers from Disneyland :)

I even bought a large amount of crystals to stick and bling her but then I had no time and those crystals are still sitting in their plastic bags... :-/


Well... time to say bye bye to her now..

Bought it during the Pc Fair promotion.. well the price is same, just more free gifts.. :P

Cost me Rm3988, with the specifications of 2.4Ghz, Nvidia Graphic card, Motion eye camera (so I dont need to lug an extra web cam on my trips..) and a glowing Luminous LED syncronising with the music I play.. :D Guess I dont need to explain a lot cos you can check out its website...

Free gift: A laptop bag, a laptop sleeve, and a custom made keyboard cover only for CS model... :D And these free gifts are claimed to cost RM200 each!! :D Oh not to forget an extra 1gb of RAM added to it (so now it had 4Gb RAM innit)

Gave the laptop bag to BF cos I dont use it, I only use the sleeve for travelling..

And I choosed the new colour: Nude Beige.. that kinda looks like light pink to me. Cos I dint like that striking pink colour they had as well..

Well, hopefully it last AT LEAST 5 years... (Gyna's Compaq laptop of 1 year and 9 months died last week)

No! Nothing is wrong with Dellina.. Im gonna reformat her (soon, i hope) and pass it to Mei to use.. since she'll start her degree course soon... aside the not so good looking feature she had now, she is still very good. At least, Mei can stil use it with her assignments and online and some storage of movies.. :)

At least I (kinda) sponsored something for Mei's education... :P

LA flight, and everything else...

Ok, I FEEL like blogging... although its all gonna be random.. at least im sharing my thoughts.. dunno, maybe staying in the room made me so bored, I've decided to take pictures and blog...

First, Today is White Valentine's Day. That's what they celebrate in Japan and Korea. :)

Second, I DISLIKE flights to LA. I dont hate, but dislike.

1. I hate the spooky hotel.

The hotel belongs to the company (they have shares or something) and its REALLY OLD, the tiles are old, the pipes are old, the carpets are old, the beds and lamp shades are old, the lightings are old, even the hair dryer is so old and noisy it vibrates!! And the corridor; comfirm spooky. I have no idea how old is the hotel, but I heard is not "clean" too.. :(

Crews have seen "things", feel "them". Heck, I am still in a room sharing basis, and that crew who shared the room with me kept having nightmares! She was so scared, she shifted to her senior's room, LEAVING ME ALONE!! T____T

I mean, like they have no $$ to renovate? I see the lobby like FULL of people, functions and event, but why cant they just replace the tiles, carpets, curtains and blanket?? Those things are so dull and dark in color, it just add spookiness to the hotel... (This is another hotel that still uses the blankets you find in Genting Hotels, the other hotel is Hawaii, which also belongs to the company... nowadays mostly all 5 star hotels have upgraded to duvet and comforter.. and there they are with those woolly blankets!!

Heck Hiltons are making big renovation, their carpets and rooms are so nice now (atlanta) it just makes me miss flying Atlanta flight!!

And to add more, the tv chanels in LA is so boring and limited, I dont even bother turning the TV on! I have a habit of sleeping with either 1 light on or the tv on if im alone to cover the silence, and I normally tune in to disney chanel or nickelodeon (call me childish cos still watching cartoons but I dont care, they are funny and relaxing and cute) If there are none of those chanels, there are some family chanel with funny comedies!! But LA!! They only have news, sports news, cnn, bbc, weather news, stock news, news again.... sigh...

On the bright side, I love some news channel in the USA. (some, im not talking about CNN) Cos there are not reporting something in a serious tone, there are jokes or funny comments and hyper. Compared to Malaysia's DULL MONOTONOUS UGLY MAN reporting a sport event. Gosh~

WHY cant these 2 hotels gets upgrade too?? (also heard hawaii's hotels are not "clean" too )


2. There aint any shopping center I can go in LA.

The hotel is in downtown, and the only shopping place is a small Macy Plaza, with 1 macy department, 1 VS shop, 1 express, and some mini shops im not interested in. Ok, If I do travel further, maybe there will be a shopping mall, like in Hollywood (havent been there yet) but still, that hotel is in DOWNTOWN!

The Macy is also so small, I cant even find a coach department in there! and their clothes are so aunty!!

I dont hate LA yet, cos I've yet to go California Adventure, Six Flags Park, and the big factory outlet stores.. I heard LA have one of the biggest.. If its not cos im kinda in a financial crisis here, add on with the current economic and currencies, otherwise, there's no reason why I drag flying to LA... sigh...

Anyway.. enough of complains.. Even though I said there's nothing there to shop, I somehow still find myself spending USD100 there.. just like that.

Like helping my mum to get her 70spf sunblock.

Yes, they have these sunblock in Malaysia, but only up to SPF 50 now... and those selling in Malaysia are produced from either Indonesia or Thailand, which somehow have less effect. So the "Pros" said..

I thought they even have it in spf80 or something.. dont remember.. I know those were selling in atlanta....

And though they are not mine, but they are my mum's, which I am buying for her, not helping her to buy... (means im not getting back any $$ from her laaa)

And cos Easter is coming soon, everywhere selling those egg dye and I cant resist myself to get one pack myself... :P

I even wanted to get those plastic eggs and baskets for a Easter hide and seek games for my little cousins, but I know I never have those time.. I'll postpone them for my future kids.. lol...

Oh, M&M's in the shape of eggs and in pastel color.. how often you can find those? Its also buy 1 free 1... hehehehe...

Hawaian Pizza from California Kitchen.

Opps, 2 pieces kinda digesting in my stomach when I was taking this picture... hehe...

I dunno why food is so expensive in US, this mini pizza (and it's a standard size) cost me USD 11.99 before the tax. And Pizza hut is TOTALLY better than this piece... (you can also see its kinda burnt at the side, I can ask for refund but too lazy to go out again)

I divide this pizza into 3 meals you know T____T

Brunch, dinner, next day breakfast before departure.... *sobsob*

And its either pizza, spaghetti, or American's Chinese Food, which of course.. not as good as those home cooked or even in Malaysia... hmmm... I believe I can even cook better than them... :P

And I finally purchased my Ipod Nano.. hehehehehehehehe :D

Its a little cluttered at picture time, cos I was charging it, along with other wires around my laptop (psp, external hardisk, laptop fan...) after using it for the whole day in LA watching movie and listening to musics.. Gotta go buy a travel plug, cos the current charger I have is the usb type, no computer no charge. Also maybe a cover for it, just incase the color got scratched...

After lots of price surveying, I finally bought mine in Korea's duty free shop, which actually cheaper than in the US and Malaysia... :)

I've been complaining for so long that I kinda dont like my shuffle (though its a birthday present I asked :P) cos its only 1 gb, and you cant see or choose the song, there are times I forgot the songs I put in there and wanna check the name, but I cant. And I also found out my shuffle dont play ALL the songs I put in there. (its recorded in Itunes like how many times its played) I kept getting repeated songs im so bored of it.

At least nano I can check out the names, choose what song I wanna play... now even can watch movies (though the screen is small, but its clear) and even play games!! :D

I dint wanna get a classic or Itouch cos I think classic is too big (120gb, my laptop also dun have that much space) And I kinda not interested in Itouch or Iphone (though claimed to have many functions)

The bad thing with apple products, every damn movie or MV have to be converted to mp4 before you can view.. hmmm.. kinda lags my laptop a lot while im converting movies for my overseas trip (cos I dont wanna bring my heavy, bulky laptop and all the troubles when going thru customs checks)

In another random fact, i need to search for a nice pouch to put my travelling nail care stuff. The current one is kinda too full and the insides are actually stained with a few lacquers color due to spilling...

Yes, I need lots of nail care stuff to bring along with me. Do you know how dry is the air in the plane?? There's once I lost my hand cream and so I dint put any in the whole flight, when I was passing the immigration, during the fingerprint check, the officer actually said they cant scan my prints properly cos my fingers are dry... WTF!!

And this pouch is only for me to put my nail colors (include anti chip coats cos working in this kinda job, nails tend to break so often you need something to protect them more..., base coat, color, top coat) and cuticle cutter, nail filer and some other caring gels and creams. I have my hand cream and another cuticle cream in my makeup pouch. sigh...

I know, i already have a psp bought by the same need-to-buy impulse. sigh. and i hardly play it now, cos its not that cold anymore and I dont need to bring bulky coats so I can stuff my laptop back into my luggage again. Im also lazy to convert movies to mpeg4 and watch it in a tiny screen compared to my 14" laptop screen.

i just cant seems to leave my laptop cos im too bored not go online. And i dint have off-duty flight this two months, no time to use my psp.

but i want a nano.

im tired of my shuffle, for i cannot see or choose what song i wanna play. like sometimes i forgot what song i put in there and wanna know the name, i cant. and nano have more features!! of course, also more space compared to 1gb shuffle. (i know they have 2gb now, but mine is 1gb version and no im not getting the 2gb one!)

so, what happen to my psp?

its a long story... and it hasn't even finished!!!

First, this down-right illegal downloader try to get free games online. found some, but had trouble putting it into the psp.

Also found some website, selling unlimited game downloads. but a lil too expensive to buy it for my own. so now, im looking for anyone who's interested to share that account with me. and we can share the password to download games we like! they even have movies and song... so they claimed...

and i have some review its not a bad cheating your money kind of website...

So meanwhile, went to a game shop somewhere in seremban (amazingly, seremban still have games shop compared to lowyat) and wanna get a few games to play during my trip to Frankfurt.

then, I found out my psp needed an UPGRADE so it can install "pirated" games. s***-mo****-F****!!! (see, im not cursing.. it's just full of ********) :P

cost me rm80, plus i bought a "remote-control" earphone, after some bargaining, got it for rm30 (compared to US selling at USD30) but im not sure is it original or not.. lot of fake things nowadays...

TO MY HORROR.... they are selling.....

im not sure how genuine are they, or maybe its from Taiwan or Japan. unlike US which sells them only in Black, White and Silver...

but one thing, to console myself, they're selling the psp at a higher price, with only 4gb of memory. they have 8gb too but a lil tad more expensive than the price i bought mine... still i wonder how much is it after bargaining... sigh...

and to console myself again, black is good for me after a few years.. takkan at 25 im still using a pink psp? :P sorry ppl who still likes pink at that age... :P

but then by then they might have psp version 5000? with better features? who knows... sigh..

but since the upgrading kinda reformatted my memory card, I connected my psp to my laptop to put in my songs and movie again..

virus detected!!!

now, the thing about my anti-virus software is, its so up-to-date and sensitive, so any worms, trojan, and virus can be detected straight away and automatically cleaned!!

which means it also jammed my memory card

which means i need to reformat it

which means no more games inside!!!

ARGHHHHHH!!!

oh well, no time to go back to the shop, i just put in the whole season 4 of desperate housewives for Frankfurt.. sob sob :((

Im going to go back there after this trip and COMPLAIN!! REFUND!!!

ok ok... im not as pro as her, and i dint video any of the process nor take any photo of the process.. no one actually bothered about me when I was zhng-ing it... brother was doing add maths in front of me and sis just at the side of me playing computer games.... I dint even have the "before" pic..

I only did it out of my copycat habit. I watched xiaxue zhng her phone, and I spent RM30 in a lame tailor shop in Seremban selling expensive but cheap plastic crystal. then I bought some epoxy glue and start sticking it to my old sony camera.

as i said, its old, meaning, its paint is coming off cos she has a rough owner.

and I bought those beads a lil too big size.. still, at that size, my eyes hurt and I had hard time picking up the crystal.. and im using my special tweaser I bought to beautify my nails, before I know how to enjoy pedicure by professionals... :P

still daddy said it's nice... tehehe... *big big smile*

Memory card corrupted

I dont know shall i say freaking mad or dissapointted! My phone memory card just gone corrupted suddenly and now everything in it is gone!! arghhh!!!! the worst is i dint back up any of it at all! just want to kill myself now.. some music my friend bleutooth to me which i dint backup yet, photos since i started working, my lil cousin pictures, which was very hard to take cos she's always moving, some pics i took in london, and some pics fish passed to me so i can email it to her and the most important: a video i recorded few weeks back where my drunked friend trying to "rape" another friend... ergh... i wanna used that to black mail him later on... all plans gone... dint meant to really black mail but it was a really nice memory.... sigh..

tried using software to recover it but it dint work... really really sad.......

the thing is the card is new, the phone is new and look what happen? cant really trust gadgets nowadays... everything need to back up... arghhh.... i dunno what to do!!
