Los Angeles
I dont know... im just facinated by their road signs...
that hill goes up to Universal Studios...
Not long after entering, a bus passed by parading woody and chip&dale
these are the star wagons, stars makeshift changing and makeup room
the directors and editors/production team stay in these bungalow for the whole duration or shooting and editing... cool eh? or shall i say pity?
that's wisteria lane of desperate housewives... they're fliming so we were not allowed to enter... sigh...
There's this flash flood stop, where they demonstrate how they created flash flood for most of the movies.. eg. agent cody banks. watch it.
I really thought the flood gonna splash on me!! cos previously, i was sprayed by a dinosaur in jurassic land... and we were warned to beware of water again and again...
then we enter the special effect site for tokyo drift, how they shoot flying cars and etc.
there were many more special effect site for the whole tour, including the latest Evan Almighty... but my camera was low on battery and i just forgot to bring its extra, where i kept it in my luggage,.. sigh... but for those coming for a tour here next time, i suggest a video camera...
then we continued with other photo shooting with mascots and games, since i already uploaded them in my friendster, im lazy to put it in here too...
if these 2 photos were taken proportionally, i can combine them like these:
though if u see properly, u can see the line.. but still...
We left studio around 6pm, went for a takeaway and retired to bed... too tired!!
In between LA and London flight, had a day off same as candice so we went myeong dong with her. a shopping haven (the whole area are shops and the street full of stalls, like petaling street but waaaayyy better than PS) and we are shopping for autumn! imagine, never have season change in KL and now we are shopping for season clothings!! We spent so much. actually not we, just ME. sigh...
It was sadly a rainy day, those road side stalls werent open otherwise i think i can go broke.. there are so many things to shop there.. accesories, clothes, makeups from korea, shoes... phew.. to name a few... the raining street. usually it is packed and full of stalls... like these:
Candice and me having dinner there
These are the clothes i bought...
singlet/camisole
knitted long cardigan - long sleeve
short sleeves
a Converse shoe
sleeping wool socks - really nice and comfy - and only RM8
lip tint, mascara remover, cleansing pad and a fizzy leg massage thing
and u get a box of facial cotton for free
hair spray (for mum), varieties of facial mask at RM 1.20 per piece, nivea lip balm, body shimmer powder and nail color
you get a free facial cotton too ;)
a hair clip for Jason's mum
and a bling bling phone accesories for moi!
this is the fizzy leg massage thing im gonna try...
I dont have a pail and the bath tub is too big for a small tablet, so i have to use this:
And i got cheated again! as you see, its supposed to frizzle a lot but look what happen...! ergh...
and a totally messy room - stuffs from LA and Myeong Dong
just went sight seeing in london, and a museum...
their undergroundif i buy it, will anyone wear it?
that's a statue in front of buckingham palace, but i dont remember the name... that bird is resting comfortably on his head...
we went to buckingham palace, to see the change of guards. this is the second time i came here and it is also the second time i went home without seeing anything. the first time it started raining, so the parade was canceled. this time we went on an odd date day: 21st sept. change of guards only on even date days... what the..!! but anyway, they did a mini one, which only involve 3 guards:
this was an everyday thing, horses going around the palace
the "change of guards"
me waiting there stupidly and cam whoring...
manage to take some photos while waiting... stupidly.. (im already wearing my new cardi bought from myeong dong)
candid camera of Evelyn, my senior
you can see eye of london from here... never been there yet... maybe next time... but im sure its totally better than eye of malaysia...
We went to this Amora museum, a mini museum displaying everything involving love, sex, relationships. I saw it in the travel magazine and since it can be reached by underground, i suggested my senior to visit it. Well she wasnt into it that much, maybe she felt shy going with me or not that curious like me... ;p my bad...
i just love their design there...
and their sculptures... can u see it properly? ;)
They have a few section, explaining different topics...
dint take that much pic, there are even dummies with sensors for visitors to "practice" the turn-you-on touches, and spank-o-meter for wild s&m stuff... where u spank the dummies and the meter show if that turns the dummy on or not... ;)
oh nearly forgotten, saw this while i was passing the tunnel... was just about to leave when i turned around and saw it.. haha...
and instead of music, they had those love making sounds all the way! gosh...
check out http://www.amoralondon.co.uk/ for more
next, we went to what everybody known as london bridge, but its infact it's called Tower Bridge. London bridge is another one 500m from it. I had the pictures of london bridge... but it was all gone when my phone memory card went currupted! argh....!!
it was so windy... my hair just wouldn't stay put
im in between the 2 brigdes that open...
finally... london bridge is fallin down, fallin down... lalala..
We also went oxford street, shopping haven in london. brands like mng, topshop, dorothy perkins, zara, next, H&M, debenhams all are there... not to say, shop till i drop... sigh....
Finally we took a train home and went to a nearby steak house for dinner... I was once told the food was cheap there... we got cheated... well it is cheap compared to other restaurants in london, but after conversion... its really not.. and since both of us dont eat beef, we ordered their duck and chicken meal...
And just because we are asians, service wasnt that good.. we have to wait like 30mins to get a place... or maybe the restaurant is really full... i dunno... anyway...
my pretty little drink...
my duck.. it was a big portion... mat salleh's portion...
Well... that's it! OWH i've finish blogging! i spent days and hours on this blog, loading photos and videos... just for you...
